Forgetting you

I tried to forget you,
Forgetting all the sweet memories we once had,
Forgetting all the beautiful moments we once shared.
I run my life on rewind,
passing those times we once shared.
My thoughts of all our fun times are burning.
I have decided to end this affection, right here,
like the sound of the swaying tress,
like the sound of the moving waves.
I have decided to start afresh, right now.
And forget you.
I will forget you, today.
